The area of my research interests covers application-oriented synthesis and functionalization of carbon nanoallotropes: nanotubes, nanofibres, graphene, quantum dots, fullerenoids, etc., and their applications. The main implementation schemes include:

• nanocomposites/nanohybrids with enhanced mechanical, thermal, electrical and/or magnetic properties,
• electroconductive coatings for textronics,
• superlubricants,
• magnetically targeted drug delivery systems,
• nano(bio)catalysts,
• materials for military/civil engineering, including stealth technology.
